First the truth — there’s no magic wand. The closest thing to a magic wand is content, and lots of it. The more original, quality, well-written content the better. After you have decided upon your content then the site needs to start taking shape paying particular attention to things like header tags, image tags, browser titles, keywords and descriptions. Once the site is completed there is still more work to be done. Analytics, sitemaps, webmaster tools, backlinks, forum and blog posts and more.
