Great websites require great content – it’s as simple as that. If you want to be ranked highly by search engines and want visitors to frequent your site you will need fresh, quality content. Writing intelligent, well written copy is a time consuming process just as editing, color correcting, and resizing images. If you don’t have the time or expertise required please let us know.
In addition to the actual website, you will also need a domain name and a hosting account. If you have already have a domain we can easily transfer your new website. If not, you will need to register a domain name and set up a hosting account. We recommend hosting with Bluehost.com and plans start at $6.95/month.
This may sound intimidating but it’s actually an easy, painless process. We’d be happy to walk you through all the steps necessary to get up and running.
All of our websites are designed to work on all current web browsers such as Internet Explorer 7 & 8, Safari, FireFox and Chrome. We make sure each site is thoroughly tested and functions exactly as it should on all platforms. Depending upon the complexity of the site design it may be possible to support outdated browsers such as Internet Explorer 6. If this is a design requirement please let us know.
First the truth — there’s no magic wand. The closest thing to a magic wand is content, and lots of it. The more original, quality, well-written content the better. After you have decided upon your content then the site needs to start taking shape paying particular attention to things like header tags, image tags, browser titles, keywords and descriptions. Once the site is completed there is still more work to be done. Analytics, sitemaps, webmaster tools, backlinks, forum and blog posts and more. Much of this will be done by us already and we’ll make sure you understand how we both can continue to improve upon your site.
Support for the first 30 days from the day the site goes live is free. We can also perform minor changes free of charge during this period and provide additional training if necessary. After the first 30 days support is billed at our current hourly rate. We also have several maintenance plans available. Please contact us for more information.
In a perfect world, nothing would ever go wrong. Servers wouldn’t crash, websites wouldn’t be hacked, and hardware would never fail. That said, this world isn’t quite perfect yet — things do go wrong. Information also need to be kept fresh and current in order to keep visitors coming back.
We offer a number of maintenance packages to fit any business model.
We accept most credit cards as well as company checks. 50% payment is due on project start and the remaining 50% is due before the site goes live. We use test servers and test accounts on the host of your choice to ensure the site works exactly as it should before acceptance.
